Principles of Policing is a guided exploration of the 9 axioms issued by Sir Robert Peel that established the basic rules of modern policing. They cover everything from Ethics and De-Escalation to the Mission of Law Enforcement. In addition, they also encompass topics such as managing Withdrawals and Deposits in the community.
During the 16 hour course, officers encounter multiple methods of learning, are challenged by classroom discussions, and are forced to engage their critical thinking skills.
